A little about Oleen Brothers' Quarter Horses

Our ranch horses are an important part of our cattle operation.  Most of our mares have been used in our ranch work before becoming brood mares.  Foundation blood runs deep in most of their pedigrees.  We are not professional horse trainers and a lot of the time our young horses are asked to work in situations that they aren't really ready for.  We wish this was not the case but it seems we are always short of time and help.  Our young horses have to learn on the job.  This has told us our young horses are fast learners and willing to work and learn.

We hope to start selling some young horses that are more than just started. They won’t be finished horsed but horses that have had some pasture and rope experience. Ready to take to the next level.

Oleen Brothers' Stallions - click the photos to enlarge.

Blue - Our Blue Valentine bred stud.  He's just as impressive as he looks!

JAK Black Leo - aka "Crapper."  Oleen Brothers' double-bred Leo stallion is siring smart colts with great dispositions.  Crapper's colts are under saddle and turning out to be good ranch horses.

Buck - Young stallion by Two Eyed Red Buck who's built the right way.  His first sons will sell in 2010.
